Today we were invited to attend a ceremony at Ma-de’s temple here in our village of Penestanan. Daddy had to put on a sarong and head piece before entering the temple – boy was he looking like a fashion diva in his attire. These people are serious worshippers! The offerings within the temple were never ending. They spend days and days putting together their offerings which are sometimes so intricate that you can’t believe someone took the time, not to mention the effort, to create such a masterpiece.
