The French are still haunting us, would you believe such a thing??? We received word from the foreign overseas bureau that on August 9th a speeding violation occurred in Jean Charles vehicle. Yes, it is true that on that particular day, my mother was a speed demon. You can refer back to the blog from that day which talks about the need to be home by 5:30pm because daddy was starting an 8 hour on-line, boring as hell training session. In a mad rush to return from San Raphael, mama was pushin' the pedal to the medal and traveling faster than the speed of light. The only thing she slowed down for was to pay the toll and even then, she didn't fully stopfor them...instead she just rolled through and tossed the money in the basket. She doesn't deny her speed demon-like behavior one bit....she may be a little proud of her race car driving capabilities. What she's pissed about is that she was picked up by radar and yet no one bothered to actually pull her over. It's one more reason she's protesting the entire nation. She's looking for a formal apology from that Sarkozy fella because she now thinks that the French are a bunch of weenies. First they wouldn't return the juicer that she bought. And now this? Oh please!!! To add insult to injury, they have our precious piece of artwork as hostage in the Nice airport. It mysteriously went missing as we were going through security so we've asked the Frenchies to investigate when they fly in on Thursday. Hopefully they will retrieve it and make mama happy. Even worse than that, mama lost her diamond earring that daddy gave her when Sophie was born somewhere in the house in France. Big huge bummer. We are hoping Nadine finds it and returns it rather than hawking it in an attempt to cover the cost of the infamous speeding ticket. mama has made the decision to formally withdraw her application to be a French diplomat...as you might already know, diplomacy is not always her forte. and it seems as if she's always getting fussy with the French!
