Happy birthday to our beloved mama. We took her up to Whistler for a fun filled, action packed few days.

Oh Canada, oh Canada, how beautiful you are. Your shining blue skies and bushy green trees and so very meaningful to me!

Daddy has been extremely sick but was able to manage the day without passing out on us. It was a close call several times and finally we just had to call it a day and head back to Vancouver.

Team Glick in training for the 2014 Winter Olympics.

The skiing season here just ended two days ago. If mama has it her way, we'll be back to shred these slopes someday soon.

Yes, this woman is 42 today but feels as if she's 142.

The family that hikes together, stays together. Or rather, hears a crapload of complaining along the way!

This 4.7 km tram shuttles skiers between Whistler and Blackcomb. It takes 11 minutes and is high, high above the earth. Great for bear watching although we didn't see a single one. There are apparently 50 black bears that call this glorious place their home.

The views from here are amazing!
As if I needed to tell you that.

Some of these trams are equipped with glass bottoms. The wait for one of those is an hour so we opted for the quickest way across the sky which didn't involve glass.

Thinking about joining the Tahoe ski patrol this coming season.

Open lift ride down the mountain and i didn't even freak out! Our shoes were removed though because we would have most definitely kicked off our flip flops mid-flight.

Sophie and her encounter with Yogi the bear. She's fearless! The one thing we were educated on while here in Canada is what to do in the event of a bear sighting. We are good to go now should we come across one!
