Yesterday was mommy and daddy's 5th wedding anniversary...the Bali wedding that is. Mama found a flyer at the yoga studio for a babysitter and without hesitation, called and booked Amber for the evening. This is the first time ever she's gotten a sitter for us while traveling. I think she lives in fear that we'll either be locked in the closet and tortured or just plain abducted so she's always just gone without. Turns out that Amber was amazing! She played a few rounds of UNO with us. Took us for a walk. Brought a cookie that had gluten in it. Boy was that a treat. She even let us stay up past our bedtime. And then made up some cool stories when it was time for bed. I fell right to sleep but Sophie....that a whole other story. She kept sneaking out of our room and each time, she was caught and told to go back to bed.

These crazies we to the St. Regis hotel for a ginger margarita while feasting their eyes on the sunset. By the time they left, mama was tipsy as ever. They met some older couples and had interesting conversations about traveling the world.

We aren't sure what mama is trying to communicate in this photo. Perhaps that she's a lion in the jungle. It's anyone's guess.

Sucking down a margarita! Or two! At about $20 a piece. This Hawaii place will suck your bank account dry!

Best margarita ever!

I believe we've been here for 25 days now and this is literally the first sunset witnessed. Sad but true! Fortunately it was a beauty!

Daddy is just happy to be at a tapas/wine bar sans kids. He truly stepped up his game on this vacation. He could be seen doing laundry and then went a step beyond and actually folded it. He did dishes. Some light and I mean, light cooking. Took us to the pool on many occasions at 8am so mama could sleep in and then wake up slowly in the solitude of her zen music. Watched us while mama did 6 yoga classes. He totally gets a gold star. Plus, he even stepped up his wardrobe and was rarely seen in one of his ratty white t-shirts. He was looking hot, according to mama!

The eyes.....they tell the whole story. Do they not?

And this was the scene when they got home. Amber was on the couch asleep too. No signs of torture at all. It was a very lovely evening for all parties involved.
