Yesterday marked the six month anniversary of the passing of our beloved and most fabulous Auntie Ro. Sophie and I came up with the brilliant and clever idea of tossing one of our lei's into the ocean in hopes of it finding her ashes along the way....most likely to the great pacific garbage patch. Mommy found a really lovely blessing that she read prior to us launching the lei into the water. We thought the tide would bring it back to us but surprisingly, it went on its merry way. It probably knew that it had a very important mission to fulfill. That being finding Auntie Ro and letting her know that each and every one of us Glick's have a very enormous hole in our heart since her departure. And that we keep her ashes in the car and every single morning without fail, we say good morning to her as if she's our co-pilot. What a special human being she was and such a huge part of our lives. We miss her more than anything but know that she's in good hands now.
