Now that Sophie and I are officially best friends with the bartenders, we have swim up privileges. That means we just have to swim up to the bar and voila.....either Fernando or Javier fire up the blender and whip up us a smoothie. We are a little nervous to get the final bill. Between margaritas, beers, smoothies and quesadilla consumption, it's bound to be huge. This morning, our favorite staff person, Matt babysat us for 2 hours. Matt's job is basically to see that everyone here is having a good time. Mama actually makes him work a little bit....she has him fetch her a towel every so often, make dinner reservations, bring cocktails to her and even had him make some calls to make sure daddy wasn't lost at sea on his fishing expedition. Today Matt took us down to the beach to build sand castles while mama and daddy had breakfast while listening to the time share propaganda. Daddy spent, no joke, 4 hours hammering the guys down until they practically gave him a villa for free. Of course mommy didn't stick around to be embarrassed by his extreme number crunching. We got very close to buying one but daddy lacks trust in the Mexican government should something happen to this glorious place plus, one big hurricane and this place would be blown to the Hawaiian islands. We have about 36 hours left to enjoy paradise as we know it and then yet again, back to reality.
