The mornings here always start with a super thick marine layer combined with wind gusts that could do a doozie to a toupee! The surf seems to be mad as hell this early in the morning. The waves are nasty and big this time of day. Regardless, that doesn't stop the surfers from infiltrating the sea. They welcome the sight of these monstrosities! When noon rolls around, the skies shift into a blue paradise....clothes are shed and people emerge from their villas, making their way to the pool. We are no exception! Mama doesn't really move from the bed before this time, unless of course, there's a massive emergency. In fact, a few days ago we asked her if we could have cookies for breakfast and we practically fell over when she said yes. After one a piece, we scurried back to her and asked for another and she proceeded to tell us to have as many as we would like. She thought we would exhibit some sort of self control, however, when we reported back that we each had six, she almost fell out of bed! But even this event could not budge her from bed. She is on her third book this week and as a result, nothing much phases her. This morning we had bars and chips. Not the most nutritious breakfast available. She's suffering this morning from the combo pack....a night of bad sleep along with a red wine hangover of sorts. Tequila would have been a better choice for her. However, the pizza joint wasn't serving that up last night. By the way, your can actually find some decent pizza in Mexico. Where is daddy when all of these shenanigans are going down?????? He spends the early morning near the pool checking emails and making sure the Glick Empire back home isn't falling apart at the seems. A few days ago he went on an 8 hour fishing expedition with 2 Canadians. 8 hours on the sea and all he came back with was a tiny little Nemo. It was hilarious for us but not so much in his opinion. He had the chef cook it up for him while the other guys ate worms for dinner. It was thee most expensive $125 ceviche ever. Plus, the sun stroke he almost suffered along with 1st degree burns.......I don't think he'll be sailing on the seven seas again anytime soon. Since that trip, he has limited his sun exposure to zero. He told mommy that he'll get the last laugh when her over exposed skin starts falling off of body. Not so she says.....that's what skin transplants are for!!!!!!!!!!

Mama working on her st. Tropez tan.

This is how daddy rolls......clothes and towels protect his ever so delicate skin.

Cocktail hour at the pool.
