We just safely returned from a brisk and rather nippy walk around Lake Merritt. And sans Ally which is a thing we never do. Mommy needed some quiet time so we set off on a long and meditative walk around the lake. Until.......we were almost snatched up by a gaggle of geese! We brought bread so we could feed the hungry souls but the whole endeaver almost resulted in an early death for the two of us! Never have we experienced such aggressive and hostile behavior. We couldn't even tear the bread apart without being pecked apart. We simply threw the slices as quick as we could and ran for our lives. No joke - these crazy birds chased us while angrily honking their honkers and there were about 100 hundred of them. Each weighing in at no less than 25 pounds. Not that we'd fry one up but they sure looked like good eatin'!
Yesterday I hung out at the beach with my buddies Cooper and Jack. The most exciting thing of the day was watching the Blue Angels practicing their routine for their show on Sunday. I even witnessed them flying under the Golden Gate. Wow, what a spectacle!
