7:30am: good morning world! rise and shine! Get dressed, quick breakfast, pack snacks and lunches for our adventure into the city today. I'm ditching school!
8:45: swing by Xanah's house to pick the ladies up and then head over the bridge to Adriana's house to drop off dinner that mommy made for them. Malena decides she wants to rendezvous with us so we load her up in the car and head for the offices of State Farm where we find Meghan. She has taken a job working for them and needed child care today so we grab Rowan and head for the aquarium. If you're following this correctly, you will now realize that there are 5 kids and only 2 moms. Mommy thinks its no problem and it's a manageable situation but I'm pretty sure that Xanax was crapping her pants at the entire situation. We load up our borrowed stroller that Meghan lent us since mama forgot ours at home. We weren't sure which way the weather was going to go so just to be on the safe side, we load up our rain coats, umbrellas and bags of stuff! Immediately we notice the tires are dangerously low on it but that doesn't stop 3 kids from climbing into it and making themselves comfortable. Once we arrive at the entrance, we notice that every single school child in northern california has been bused in today. No.....this can't be happening. There's nothing worse than wall to wall kids, especially given our situation. It must be free day because there is no other reason that so many kids would be there. The minute we get in, we all decide we are hungry. Let me not forget to mention that it was 50 degrees in the city today and windy. And that we have all taken off our jackets only to have to go outside to have snacks. So....we all line up and get our coats back on. it wasn't too long after that when 3 of us needed a potty break. One by one, we all had a turn on the potty. It is a lot of work, I tell you!!!! After seeing claude the albino alligator, the penguins feeding on fish and the sharks and jelly fish, we head outside for lunch. Things are, for the most part, going well. No one has been lost, hurt or fallen into a shark tank. On the way out, mama buys us all a lollypop the size of Texas. Once we get to the car we realize we have lost Malena's lunchbox! This couldn't be happening! We were so careful upon exiting and no one can figure out where it went. Fortunately she had already eaten and wasn't starving. Keep calm and carry on. We finally meet up with Adriana and hand Malena over. Off to daddy's office to pick up a few things and then home. Yay. Mama spent the afternoon lying on the couch outside while sophie and I played in the jacuzzi. It was a crazy fun day and now we are happy to be heading to bed very, very soon.
